Last week we received great news regarding the favourable report on the Kingsway Entertainment District by independent consultants. With this positive endorsement, we would like to share our vision for our community beyond our development and the promise of the impact to our community.
The Kingsway Entertainment District is a space where we enjoy ourselves and our Northern lifestyle - a place our growing community can gather and celebrate. It will be an innovative experience and a choice destination for Northern Ontario that will proudly host visitors to the beautiful city of Sudbury that we call home.
“With our incredible sports teams, The Sudbury Wolves (OHL) Hockey Club, Sudbury Five (NBL) Basketball Team, and the Sudbury Spartans Football Club under the umbrella of SWSE (SW Sports & Entertainment Inc.) we currently host over 75 sports and entertainment events per year. Our mission is to generate long-term economic growth by promoting Greater Sudbury as the capital city of the north by developing the KED.
