The Kingsway Entertainment District will foster an attitude of openness and inclusion for all, and that means that this journey is team-oriented. Partnerships are an important part of this journey and make crucial members of the KED team.
Our strategy is to form partnerships that will work together in the development and construction of an integrated site plan creating stakeholder alignment, realizing capital and operating savings, and scheduling efficiencies.
The KED is already in negotiations with many different companies and businesses, both local and global to form these partnerships.
With our partnerships, we will provide economic growth and impact, workforce development, partnerships and investment attraction, tourism, community growth, future development and increased tourism for not only the City itself, but all of Northeastern Ontario.
Along with the new OHL arena, a new, world-class, 60,000 square foot Casino will be constructed on the KED site. The Casino will host up to three restaurants to complement its gaming floor. The KED will also be home to a four-star major hotel and conference facility, all of which will be achieved through the KED’s partnerships.
