All about SpaceX, the real-life Tony Stark (also going by the name of Elon Musk…), and more!
Back in 2002, SpaceX was created by one of the boldest men on the planet, Elon “I don’t ever give up” Musk. Yes, you read that right, 2002! Most of us only heard of this company within the last couple years.
Whether or not you’re a fan of this insanely rich and outspoken man or not, it’s difficult to deny his impressive and broad list of accomplishments, including founding PayPal, Tesla (self-driving cars), and, of course, SpaceX.
SpaceX, created by Elon Musk, has the ultimate goal of moving humans into an inter-planetary existence. This, put simply, means getting the earth peoples onto other planets, starting with Mars. However, before we’re all hopping into a spaceship (like an AirCanada flight) needs to hit several key milestones.
For example, a large goal of SpaceX, and the bare bones of the entire operation is creating reusable rocket launch systems. These are more sustainable, much more cost-effective, and when the time comes, will make space travel more affordable for the average person. You might be asking yourself, why are the KED people talking about SpaceX and Elon Musk. The answer is simple, we are also a team of mission-oriented believers born to take on difficult endeavors. We hope you are as inspired by them as we are. The Kingsway Entertainment District
Similar to Musk’s ambitious focus on the future, the Kingsway Entertainment District, based in the greatest underdog city in the world (Greater Sudbury), will build a district in service of the community and anyone that wants to visit us. This will be a destination that people around the world will talk about. One of the most underappreciated aspects of our city is how incredibly talented the people that live here are. This city is filled with builders. The KED is the canvas and the skill that will be on display in its construction will emerge as a profound work of art. This project, under the leadership of Dario Zulich (another man with a never ending explosion of ideas), will provide an abundance of commercial opportunities, culture exchange, and next-level entertainment. And sure, while the new entertainment district doesn’t plan on going to Mars anytime soon, we will continue to shoot for the stars every step of the way. Greater Sudbury is the unofficial capital city of the North. The entire North gets forgotten at times. We are the heart of the entire province and it’s time we make a little noise and make sure they never forget what we are capable of. A focus on the modern world
To draw another comparison, while no rocket ships are involved in our sports entertainment district project, the latest technology is used to provide the ultimate sporting experience. The KED team has been looking at new innovations in regards to materials, techniques, and processes that allow us to set an example in sustainable development.
